Questions or conclusions – which do you prefer?

Where do you feel stuck? That part of your life, no matter what you do, just doesn’t seem to shift or change for you?

What if I told you there was something really simple you could do, that would begin to free up that stuck energy and bring in other possibilities?

It’s really simple…….You ask yourself a question.

Let me explain.

When we get stuck in conclusions, the energy stops flowing.

So what’s a conclusion? Anything we’ve decided about a person, situation, event, or ourselves. eg ‘I am this’ or ‘I am that…….’

Conclusions block us. They make it difficult for us to see anything different, or to be able to make different choices.  Conclusions limit the possibilities we feel are there. Interestingly, it’s not that the possibilities aren’t there, it’s just that we can’t see them.

Questions get the energy flowing again. Energy, just like water, needs to flow otherwise it becomes stagnant.

As that wonderfully smart man, Albert Einstein, said Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

That’s exactly what we do in our lives when we get stuck. We keep doing the same things, believing the same things and speaking the same old story and we get more and more frustrated as we don’t get what it is we want.

In a world of infinite choices, why do we make the same choices over and over again when there are so many things to choose from?

Except when we’re in conclusion and stuck, it can feel like there are few choices available to us.

So when you feel stuck try asking one of these questions……

What’s here that I can’t see?

What’s possible here I haven’t yet considered?

What do I know about this  I haven’t yet acknowledged?

What do I know about this that I’ll  find out in a year’s time?

What would I choose here if I knew I couldn’t fail?

What would I do next if I knew this was going to work out just fine?

We’re taught from an early age to answer questions,  but what if we just asked the question and trusted that the answer would come to us in its own time?

Again to quote Albert Einstein,  ‘No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

Questions can open up the energy and create a space for new and different possibilities to open up. They quite literally open the doors of your mind. When you ask a question that you don’t consciously know the answer to, your mind goes off in search of the answer (into your unconscious knowing) and when you least expect it you will get an idea, insight, different perceptive etc.

I’m sure you can recall a time where it literally felt that you had gotten the answer to something out of thin air…. It just ‘landed’ in your mind.

We all know far more than we’re consciously aware of, and once we begin to see this in action in our lives, then things begin to change for us.

With questions we can expand our world, change perceptions and create new possibilities. How awesome is that?

Are you willing to actively tap into what you don’t yet consciously know?

What could that create in your life?

Don’t just read this. Do it.  Take action. Ask a question and be curious about what’s possible.
